Ildiko Susany is an emerging actor and writer currently based in Brisbane. After graduating with distinction from the University of Southern Queensland’s Acting program in 2008, Ildiko has been working as an actor in theatre, film and digital media. Ildiko is a La Boite/QUT Ambassador 2010. She is also set to work with a dramaturg later this year to delveop her play The Day the Galaxy Inevitably Exploded and Died as part of Playlab's Showcase! creative development program. In 2009, Ildiko was a finalist in the Queensland Theatre Company’s Young Playwright’s Program for her short play The Day the Galaxy Inevitably Exploded and Died which she performed in at the Brisbane Powerhouse for Backbone Youth Arts' 2high Festival . In the same year Ildiko received mentorship from Fancesca Savige as part of the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance's Mentorship Program. In 2009, Ildiko utilised her acting and film making skills when she travelled to South Korea to teach English through a film-making Summer Camp. Ildiko is represented by Natalie Hall Management. She is a proud member of MEAA. |
